Like Revit 2022, 2023 is packed with improvements that affect day-to-day design and documentation workflows. We are refining the most commonly used tools so that immediate benefits can be seen. Schedules filters have been added to tables, for example, to ensure that the right data ends up in the right documentation sets. Schedules continue to be generated with the addition of conditional formatting by families and by types-an improvement this, coming from requests from the Revit Community.

More flexibility and control for structural engineers with revamped analytical modeling
Speed, versatility, and quality control drive a shift toward a new analytical modeling workflow for structural engineers. Model in 2D and 3D views to define the analytical model independently of the physical model, or to start with a parametric approach; “analysis-first” to develop the analytical model for buildings, roof structures, halls, stairs, and more.
With increased automation for steel joint libraries and many reinforcement enhancements, including adaptive placement and improved visualization, Revit 2023 offers a comprehensive toolset for engineering and structural detailing.
Plan-based load analysis for electrical engineers to save time in the early stages of a project
A new workflow introduced in Revit 2023 is designed to use DWG, PDF or linked Revit models as the basis for load calculations in Revit.
These load calculations, along with new capabilities to conceptually define electrical system elements, allow you to determine preliminary building load and load on major equipment components directly in the Revit environment.
